Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist Profession: Electrophysiology Specialty: Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4 × 10 hour shifts Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Required registries/licenses: BLS and ACLS certified; RCES preferred Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCES (if preferred) Must-Have: EP Laboratory, Cath Laboratory Description: Virtual Interview List B Primary duties include assisting Electrophysiology Physicians in performing Electrophysiology procedures. Responsibilities involve scrubbing for device implants (pacemaker, ICD, ICM) and ablation procedures. Operate radiofrequency generators and perform necessary tasks in the lab. Ability to operate fluoroscopic equipment and pan tables is required. Perform cardioversions as needed. Secondary duties involve assisting in Cardiac Catheterization procedures as required. Shift schedule consists of four 10-hour days per week from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. One day off each week will rotate based on departmental needs. No nights, weekends, or holidays are required. There is no on-call duty for this position. Dress code includes surgical attire, which is provided.
