Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1 year EP Lab clinical experience required License: Must have a DC or MD license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS required; ARRT and Fluoro permit preferred Must-Have: - Cerner charting experience - Experience with Electrophysiology Lab and Hemodynamic monitoring - EKG settings experience: inpatient, outpatient, obtaining vitals, sinus node rhythms Description: The Electrophysiology Technologist will work in the Electrophysiology Lab. Two days of late case coverage per week are expected. Local candidates are preferred within a 60-mile radius. The position requires skills in accessing and managing ports and accurate monitoring. Key responsibilities include cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and device implants. Candidates must have experience with Philips X-Ray machines and Siemens X-Ray machines. Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory. The facility performs various procedures including cardiac electrophysiology studies and device explants. Candidates should be able to handle a daily caseload averaging 18 patients. The facility uses Cerner and GE Cardiolab for charting. Scrubs are provided for the position.
