Join our team as an ER Holding Registered Nurse in Knoxville, TN, and be part of a leading acute-care hospital dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will care for patients who are admitted and waiting in the Emergency Department (ED) for bed availability, either in a designated area or possibly in the hallway. If there are no patients being boarded, you may be utilized in an acute care area, although this should be rare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER holding area.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient flow and care.
• Assist in the transition of patients to appropriate care settings as beds become available.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably with MS Tele experience.
• Current ACLS certification is required.
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Open to accommodating block schedules.
• Pending licenses are not accepted.
• Every other weekend and some holidays are required.
