• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,930

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule Notes: Self-scheduling, with every other or every third weekend rotation possible

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a valid compact license in hand at time of submission
• At least 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required
• Experience caring for adults, pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatric patients
• Comfort working in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting with triage and rapid decision-making
• Ability to manage a 1:3.5 patient ratio
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program required

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Perform triage and rapidly assess patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, manage IV therapies, and administer emergency medications
• Support care for trauma, stroke, STEMI, psych holds, and pediatric emergency cases
• Care for ventilated patients and assist with procedural sedation monitoring
• Start and maintain IVs, obtain 12-lead EKGs, and support blood product administration
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, patient-centered emergency care
• Adapt to float needs and maintain flexibility in a high-volume clinical environment
