• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830-$1,930

• Charting System: Epic preferred

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience required
• ER, ER holding, or med-surg/tele experience required
• Valid compact or Ohio RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with a patient ratio of approximately 4:1 preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing education preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an emergency department observation setting
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions across a broad age range
• Manage telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmias, and cardiac-related interventions
• Administer and monitor IV therapies, blood products, insulin protocols, and heparin protocols as indicated
• Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, non-invasive airway management, and ventilated care
• Assist with central line, PICC, port, arterial line, and peripheral IV management
• Provide care for patients with chest tubes, tracheostomies, wound care needs, and other complex conditions
• Collaborate with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, transportation, social services, and rapid response teams
• Participate in rapid response and code situations with confidence and professionalism
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety, efficiency, and strong clinical judgment
