Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent ED experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applying specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to two attempts to achieve a passing score
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Assignments capped at 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
• Permanent and per diem employees must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning to Cleveland Clinic hospitals
• First-time travelers not considered for this position due to experience requirements
