Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and 18 months of recent ER experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation with a passing score required

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• TNCC certification preferred
• NIHSS certification required
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• 18 months of recent ER experience required (travel experience accepted)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any location within this health system
