Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a day shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and 18 months of recent ER experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm
• 13-week assignment length
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license (permanent) or compact license in hand required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, preferably within one location
• Minimum 18 months of recent ER experience, travel experience accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required (2 attempts maximum)
• PBDS assessment is waived for this role
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• BCI/FBI background check prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless client-approved
• Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility drug screening requirements
