Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active OH or compact license and Epic experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 13-week assignment length
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum of 18 months recent combined ED experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ED specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)

Additional Information

• Provide emergency department nursing care to a variety of patient cases
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a 6-month break required before returning unless approved by the client
