Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Room department in a 495-bed hospital facility
• Mid-shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 3p-3a
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• On-call requirement of 1 8-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active VA RN license or Compact required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and NIHSS
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• 2+ years of ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN required for consideration; Canadian SIN not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide emergency department nursing care in a high-volume hospital setting
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• 13-week assignment with a preference for 13+ week commitments
