Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room unit. This position offers valuable opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Details
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift/Workdays: Weekend rotation required (every other weekend)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Call Requirements: Yes
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
2 years of specialty experience in a similar role
NIH Stroke Scale Certification - Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification - Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification - Required
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification - Required
Experience with Meditech documentation system is preferred
Licensure Requirements
Active RN License required (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
Dress Code
Scrub Color: Royal Blue Scrubs
Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-generation nails.
Hair: Neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors; long hair must be pulled back.
Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible; individually addressed if not feasible.
Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
Unit Guidelines and Policies
Floating within units may occur as needed. The organization’s attendance policy will be strictly followed.
