• Shift Hours: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
• Weekend / Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday
• On-Call: 1 eight-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Location: Winchester, Virginia - a historic Shenandoah Valley community with easy access to outdoor recreation, cultural attractions, and regional travel

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring in a fast-paced ER setting
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and provider orders
• Collaborate closely with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely patient care
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic electronic medical records
• Respond confidently to changing patient conditions and emergency situations
• Maintain professional communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care throughout every shift
