• Call Requirement: 1 eight-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Environment: High-acuity emergency department

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Virginia RN license or compact state eligibility
• Epic experience required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA)
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and timely interventions in the Emergency Department
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency nursing procedures as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold patient safety standards
• Support efficient patient flow while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
