Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA only), and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and scheduled call shifts
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills in a high-acuity ER setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and patient monitoring in a busy Emergency Department
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, efficient patient care
• Accurately document patient care in the EPIC EMR system
• Respond to changing patient needs while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, timely emergency care
