• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Setting: High-volume emergency department with approximately 90 visits per day
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Charting System: Cerner

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3+ years of recent emergency department nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required
• Strong Cerner experience required
• Ability to pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Experience with stroke care and TNK administration required
• Comfort working in a multi-function ED supporting geriatric, pediatric, and behavioral health patients
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate emergency nursing care in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with varying acuity levels in the emergency department
• Administer emergency medications, IV therapy, blood products, and procedural sedation monitoring as needed
• Support ventilated patients and manage central lines per unit standards
• Assist with stroke protocols, TNK administration, and other critical ER interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate timely patient care
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation in Cerner
• Provide care across adult, pediatric, geriatric, and behavioral health presentations
