Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a free-standing emergency and urgent care facility, requiring SC or compact RN licensure and prior emergency room experience.

Details

• Work in a free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility with 12 staffed beds
• Begin the contract at a hospital-based ER before transitioning to the free-standing ER/Urgent Care setting after approximately two weeks
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (7p-7a), varying days Sunday-Saturday based on need
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• AHA-issued BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI and TNCC certifications preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted as long as they have ER experience
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Free parking provided
• During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
