Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• One manager, supervisor, ANM, or director reference in the ER specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months
• All required certifications must be active and available at submission
• Ability to successfully complete orientation assessments with an acceptable score
• Availability to work at least every other holiday
• Must be eligible to complete time-sensitive background and fingerprinting requirements as part of onboarding

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care in a high-acuity setting
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on condition and urgency
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to nursing standards
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely treatment decisions
• Maintain accurate documentation and help support smooth patient flow through the ED
• Use strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-moving emergency department
• Complete required orientation, assessments, and ongoing compliance expectations
