Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room or acute care nursing experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC preferred for this emergency nursing position
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Must be willing to work at least every other holiday
• All required onboarding items must be completed on time

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients while prioritizing care based on acuity
• Administer medications, carry out physician orders, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
• Collaborate closely with providers and the care team to support timely, effective treatment
• Document care accurately and maintain a safe, efficient workflow throughout each shift
• Use strong critical-thinking skills and clinical judgment to support excellent patient outcomes
• Participate in orientation, assessments, and ongoing competency expectations
