Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
  • 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Weekend rotation required every third weekend
  • Weekend-only scheduling option may be available for interested candidates
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active RN license in Michigan required at time of submission
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS (AHA), ENPC, PALS, and TNCC
  • ENPC will be accepted in place of PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required

Additional Information

  • Coordinate total nursing care for ED patients including patient and family education
  • Collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and other care team members to maintain professional nursing standards
  • Ensure patient rights, privacy, and mutual goal-setting are upheld throughout care
  • Adhere to ANA Code for Nurses and Michigan Public Health Code standards
  • Comply with regulatory standards including AOA, HCFA Conditions of Participation, and MIOSHA
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment
