Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring charge experience and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification.

Details

  • Work in a 15-room ER plus RME space in a hospital setting
  • Care for all ER patient types, seeing approximately 100 patients per day
  • Hospital includes a 13-bed ICU plus Med-Surg, PCU, Acute Rehab, and Level 2 OB units
  • Facility is staffed 24/7 with respiratory therapy, ER providers, and a hospitalist team
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
  • 13-week contract length

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)
  • Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
  • Charge nurse experience required and must be comfortable functioning in a charge role
  • Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care to all Emergency Department patients
  • TNCC certification renewed every 4 years may be beneficial
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification updated per group guidelines may be beneficial
  • Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training may be beneficial
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced pay rate
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
