Job Details:
**Experience:** - 3 years preferred; no first-time travelers accepted. - Will accept 2 years of experience if worked in a high volume/trauma facility. - Previous charge experience not specified. - Trauma Level II experience preferred. - Travel experience required. **Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)* - MAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior)* - ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)* **Skills:** - Charting System: Epic experience preferred. - Skills include but not limited to: - Abdominal pain* - Acute psychosis* - Arterial line management - Asthma* - BiPAP/CPAP management* - Blood Product Administration - Burns* - Care of Ventilated Patient* - Central line care/management - Chest tube insertion/management* - Continuous IV paralytics - Continuous IV sedation - CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)* - Drug overdose* - Emergency Medications - Epiglottitis* - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)* - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Intubation* - Isolation Precautions/PPE* - IV vasopressors - Management of dysrhythmias - Management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Near drowning* - Pediatric/Adult Emergency Department - Psychiatric conditions - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring* - Stroke and STEMI Certified Facility experience - Triage and patient management across various emergencies **Licensure:** - License in-hand required before start. - Local Radius rule: 50 miles; not accepted for local candidates. **Other Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine not required; Flu Vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). - RTO (requested time off) required with submission. - Labs: Must be ready to complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a plan for completion. - Modules: Completed during orientation, 2-3 hours average, recorded via Oracle. Non-billable if completed within the first 16 hours.
