Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 36 hours per week. Weekend coverage required (approximately half of weekends per contract). Patient ratio of 4:1. Daily census of approximately 105 visits.

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center experience with 36-bed Emergency Department
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Care for diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• 91-day assignment with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• Exposure to complex emergency cases including trauma, stroke, and STEMI care

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required; Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in critical skills including arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and procedural sedation
• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
