Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel RN experience required
• Current acute care experience must be actively maintained and recent
• Active compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Strong telemetry monitoring and IV start skills
• Experience with emergency medications, dysrhythmia recognition, triage, and blood product administration preferred
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with urgent and complex oncology-related conditions
• Perform IV starts, monitor telemetry, and support emergency interventions in a fast-paced ED setting
• Administer medications and assist with the care of ventilated and medically complex patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response resources
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain safe, efficient patient flow in the emergency department
• Adapt to floating needs and maintain professionalism throughout the travel nursing assignment
