Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring an active Michigan RN license and ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• General Emergency Department serving combined adult and pediatric patients
• Level I Trauma Center setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-7:30
• Every other weekend and holiday work required
• No call requirements
• No floating required, though travelers float first when needed
• Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• ENPC and TNCC certifications preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• 2 years of ER experience preferred
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Supervisor-level references required
• Proof of flu vaccination required, with exemption requests submitted within 48 hours of signing

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to a combined adult and pediatric patient population in a high-acuity trauma setting
• No Christmas holiday RTO permitted, though one holiday day may be requested off
• RTO limited to no more than 10 days
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
• Previous Bronson internal travelers may return after 6 months; previous permanent staff may return after 1 year
• Annual self-reported training modules completed during orientation
