Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Document patient care accurately using Paragon electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• May be asked to precept other nursing staff as needed
• Availability to work weekends based on unit needs, coordinated with department leadership

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Tennessee state license or compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Paragon electronic health records
• Demonstrated ability to precept or mentor nursing staff
• Flexibility to adapt to varying weekend scheduling needs
