• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840-$1,940

• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every third weekend; additional weekend coverage as needed and agreed upon
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Charting System: Meditech preferred
• Medication System: Pyxis
• Communication System: Vocera

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required; 2 years preferred
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• NIHSS and TNCC preferred
• Experience with combined adult and pediatric emergency care
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Ability to perform IV starts, phlebotomy, central line care, and blood product administration
• Experience with procedural sedation, IV vasopressors, and continuous IV sedation
• Comfort caring for patients with CVA, ortho-trauma, head injury, near drowning, and other acute ED presentations
• Flexibility to work in a busy, high-acuity Emergency Room environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients across all age groups
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform standard Emergency Department procedures with accuracy and confidence
• Administer medications and therapies safely according to established protocols
• Support patient flow through triage, treatment, and discharge processes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver efficient, compassionate care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Follow isolation precautions and infection prevention practices
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment in a fast-moving ED
