• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850–$1,950

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour evening shifts, typically 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:4
• Weekend Coverage: Weekends required
• Holiday Commitment: Flexibility to work 3 of 5 designated holidays may be required
• Additional Scheduling: Floating to nearby sister facilities may be required

Emergency Department RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Washington; compact license must be active and in hand when applicable
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Recent experience caring for adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Level II trauma experience preferred; Level I or Level II trauma experience is strongly valued
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• ENPC or the required pediatric emergency nursing credential, as applicable
• Recent Epic electronic health record experience required
• Demonstrated competency with high-acuity emergency procedures, critical care interventions, and trauma patient management
• Strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Emergency Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and compassionate care to patients ranging from neonates and infants to adults and geriatric patients
• Perform emergency assessments, triage, reassessments, and ongoing monitoring for patients with low- to high-acuity conditions
• Care for patients experiencing stroke, STEMI, trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, behavioral health emergencies, and other critical conditions
• Manage ventilated patients, noninvasive ventilation, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, arterial lines, central lines, and blood product administration
• Perform and monitor procedural sedation, initiate and maintain IV access, interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases, and support resuscitation efforts
• Apply trauma-informed care, isolation precautions, de-escalation techniques, and evidence-based emergency nursing practices
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, social services, and other interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care plans in Epic
• Remain flexible with patient assignments, weekend coverage, holiday scheduling, and floating needs
