Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Everett, WA 98201

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: 4x12-hour evening shifts (2:30 PM - 3:00 AM), 60 guaranteed hours per two-week period. Weekend coverage required. Float to sister facilities may be required.

Highlights:

• Level II adult trauma center and Level III pediatric trauma center with 79-bed emergency department
• High-volume ED with approximately 220 visits per day, treating patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Primary stroke receiving center and thrombectomy center, STEMI receiving center with comprehensive critical care capabilities
• Diverse patient population ranging from low acuity to high acuity including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, behavioral health, and acute care boarding patients
• Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Epic charting system with comprehensive orientation and training provided

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
• Level II trauma center experience preferred
• Proficiency in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, triage, and behavioral health de-escalation
• Experience with critically ill patients, trauma (including gunshot wounds, head injuries, ortho trauma, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries), STEMI and stroke care
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
