Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients with a variety of acute and urgent conditions.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders and protocols.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to emergent situations.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and emergency care standards.
- Maintain required certifications and comply with hospital policies and procedures.
