Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Float within scope of practice and skillset as needed — travelers are expected to float first
• Adhere to all unit protocols, scheduling requirements, and compliance standards throughout the assignment
• Participate in required holiday scheduling as shifts fall within the posted schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA only), BLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), CPI (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Must maintain permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless otherwise specified
• Must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions or special scheduling requests
• Compliance documentation must be submitted no later than 5 days prior to start date; lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Experience managing high-acuity emergency patients across diverse presentations
• Familiarity with travel compliance processes and onboarding requirements
