Contract (13 Weeks) | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours | Rotating Days/Mids (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 11:00 AM–11:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, with potential for up to 1:5 with lower-acuity patients
• Assess and treat a wide variety of complex, multi-system diagnoses in an acute emergency care environment
• Float within the ED specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed per departmental scheduling requirements
• Adhere to all compliance requirements including timely completion of onboarding labs and required modules

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• PALS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI certification required (The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor; may be completed during onboarding)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible (locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless the posting specifically states otherwise)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience managing complex, multi-system diagnoses in a high-volume emergency setting
• Comfort with floating within scope to sister ED facilities with no restrictions or special scheduling requests
