Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' conditions and interpret plans of medical care to deliver safe, competent, and individualized nursing care
  • Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records including patients' medical information and vital signs
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) state license required
  • 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and practical nursing principles
  • Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive patient information

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Familiarity with age-specific care considerations across patient populations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in a fast-paced emergency care environment
