Schedule

12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in a Level 2 Trauma center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in critical situations, collaborating with a team of emergency medicine professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and prioritize patient care effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid New York State RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; TNCC required, PALS preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no declination forms accepted).
