• Orientation: 8 non-billable hours; mandatory attendance required for all orientation days

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current Indiana RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association
• TNCC or ATCN required
• NIHSS certification strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting and Pyxis medication administration preferred
• Ability to work in a high-acuity emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a busy Emergency Department
• Support rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of critical and non-critical patients
• Deliver care in monitored rooms, non-monitored rooms, and resuscitation bays as needed
• Work collaboratively within a team nursing model to support efficient patient flow
• Administer medications and treatments safely using Pyxis and EPIC workflows
• Respond to trauma, medical emergencies, and resuscitation situations with confidence
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Follow unit procedures, orientation expectations, and clinical best practices
