Schedule & Pay

Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
12-Hour Shifts
Every Other Weekend Required
Holiday Coverage Required

• No on-call or standby requirement
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Travelers generally work consistent start times, but schedules may vary based on staffing needs
• Other possible start times include 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 7:00 PM

Important Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience – Required
• Behavioral Health experience – Required
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• PALS – Required
• Active RN license required for submission
• Driver’s License required at time of submission
• Willingness to work every other weekend and some holidays
• Previous travel experience preferred; ideally 1–2 completed travel assignments
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Travelers may be utilized as Charge Nurse, particularly on night shifts, for those willing to take the role

Position Overview

The Emergency Room RN provides rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment to patients presenting with a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries.

The RN works in a fast-paced Emergency Department and is responsible for recognizing changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions, administering medications, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.
