Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Onsite | Rotating weekends and holidays | Self-scheduling available (shifts finalized per schedule cycle)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a 27-bed Emergency Room setting serving patients of all ages
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients across a range of diagnoses
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurse aides, EMTs, and paramedics on each shift
  • Coordinate with phlebotomy staff for lab draws and support diagnostic workflows
  • Adhere to department policies including infection control and patient safety standards
  • Participate in rotating weekend and holiday scheduling as required

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN licensure in good standing
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • Must successfully pass a department orientation exam with a minimum score of 90% (open book)
  • Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; compliance is required for contract continuation

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in an emergency department or acute care setting
  • Experience caring for patients across all age groups in a high-acuity environment
