ER RN – Job Requirements

• Specialty: Emergency Room / ER RN
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3×12s
• Weekend:Every other weekend required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year ED experience in a larger trauma setting
• Certifications:ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS
• License: WA or Compact RN license; willing to wait for license
• EMR:EPIC
• Trauma: ER/Trauma Center
• Patient Ratio:1:3, up to 1:4 for low-acuity patients
• Patient Volume: Approximately 170–200 patients/day
• Patient Population: Cardiac, stroke, sepsis, DKA, AMS, respiratory, abdominal pain, mental health
• Triage: Travelers may be assigned triage after completing a triage test
• Floating: None
• Call/Standby: None
• Holiday: November/December holidays required; manager may consider 1 of 3 holidays depending on unit needs
• RTO: No RTO during the first full week of assignment
• BSN: Not required
• Scrubs: Any professional color
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Interview: Manager will conduct a phone interview
• Duo candidates: Same schedule/shift cannot be accommodated for both candidates
• Orientation: 1 day compliance + 1 day department orientation

Key requirement: Recent ED experience in a larger trauma setting, with all required certifications and EPIC experience.
