Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Torrance, CA 90503

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Torrance, California

Schedule: Mid shift, 3x12-hour (2:00 PM - 2:30 AM), every other weekend required (6-8 shifts per contract). Patient ratio 1:4. Floating to pediatric emergency department may be required with support provided. May also float to nearby sister facilities as needed.

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS required; TNCC, EDAP or ENPC preferred
• Experience with 1:4 patient ratios and Epic charting system required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred; previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in emergency department skills including blood product administration, central line care, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia management, and procedural sedation
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
