Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care principles
• Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Emergency Room RN Responsibilities

• Interpret the plan of care and support safe, competent nursing practice
• Provide individualized patient care in a high-acuity emergency nursing environment
• Maintain accurate reports, records, and patient documentation
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
• Record patient medical information, vital signs, and condition changes
• Communicate and coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Modify care plans as needed based on patient response and clinical condition
• Deliver attentive, compassionate care to patients of varying ages and needs
