Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Travel RN – Emergency Department
Shift: Days 3x12 or 4x12 (07:00–19:00) | 36/48 alternating schedule | 84 hrs biweekly guaranteed
Start: Within 3–5 weeks | Exp: 3 yrs preferred; less considered | Travel Exp: Required, no first-time travelers
Ratio: 4:1; CDU up to 5:1 | Charting: Epic preferred | Weekend: Required
Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, Nursys; CPI/MAB may be required.
Skills: ED Adult/Peds, Level II Trauma, triage, trauma/neuro-trauma, STEMI/stroke, intubation, procedural sedation, vents/BiPAP, arterial/central lines, chest tubes, blood products, vasopressors, sedation/paralytics, dysrhythmia management, EKGs, CVA/seizures, burns/GSW, psych/suicidal patients, overdose/poisoning, ABGs, isolation/PPE.
Compliance: License in hand before start; ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/Nursys required at submission; SSN/RTO required; 50-mile local rule; labs within 72 hrs; hard docs due 3 business days before start; Flu vaccine required, COVID not required.
