Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position requiring 2 years of ED experience and TNCC, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

Details

  • Emergency Room unit serving patients across pediatric, obstetric, oncology, and geriatric populations
  • 12-hour night shifts
  • Weekend schedule determined by the facility
  • On-call schedule determined by the facility
  • Oregon compact license not accepted

Requirements

  • Active OR RN license or willingness to obtain
  • Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
  • Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (willingness to obtain acceptable at time of consideration)
  • Skills checklist required within 1 year

Additional Information

  • Apply the nursing process to patient care within RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
  • Educate patients and significant others on care and treatment
  • Document patient care thoroughly in the medical record
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment
