HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Easton, Maryland.

Facility: University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton
Location: Easton, MD
Start Date: 08/24/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) (Rotating Day/Mids as needed: 07:00–19:30 / 11:00–23:30)
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week, every other weekend, holidays as scheduled
Patient Ratio: 1:4 (up to 1:5 for lower acuity patients)
Charting System: Epic
Float Required: Yes
Call Requirement: None
Note: First-time travelers accepted with strong experience. Float required within the ED specialty, including four additional ED locations as needed. Active MD or Compact RN license required at submission. CPI completed during onboarding.

Position Overview:

Job duties:

  • Provide rapid assessment, triage, and emergency nursing care for patients across the lifespan in a high-volume emergency department.
  • Administer emergency medications, blood products, IV therapies, and procedural sedation while managing critically ill patients.
  • Monitor and manage ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP therapy, chest tubes, and cardiac emergencies.
  • Perform cardiac monitoring, obtain 12-lead ECGs, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to STEMI and stroke emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to stabilize trauma, medical, pediatric, and behavioral health patients.

Requirements:

License: Active Maryland RN License or Compact RN License
Experience: Minimum 2 years Emergency Room RN experience; previous charge experience and community hospital experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI (during onboarding), NRP (preferred), TNCC (preferred)
Other requirement: Experience in combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department, triage, STEMI and Stroke-certified facilities, and willingness to float within the ED specialty.

Unit: Emergency Room (2810-10777)
Patient Ratios: 1:4 (up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients)
Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: Medical emergencies, trauma, stroke, STEMI, respiratory distress, behavioral health crises, pediatric emergencies, neurological disorders, cardiac conditions, and multisystem illnesses.
