Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience within the last 3 years
• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (AHA only)
• Ability to pass telemetry testing prior to start
• Experience in a Level II trauma environment required; Level I trauma experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan, from infants to geriatrics
• Perform rapid triage, assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring in a busy emergency department
• Support care for a wide range of emergency presentations, including trauma, stroke, respiratory distress, cardiac concerns, behavioral health, and medical emergencies
• Administer medications, initiate and maintain IVs, and assist with advanced interventions as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
• Float as needed within the system per assignment requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and emergency department procedures
