• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: May float if needed
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Charting System: EPIC
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,090 - $2,200

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Experience in a general adult and pediatric emergency setting preferred
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required
• Experience managing dysrhythmias
• Strong IV therapy and phlebotomy skills, including central line care and maintenance
• Experience with IV vasopressors
• Experience caring for CPAP/BiPAP and ventilated patients
• Comfort with isolation precautions and triage
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
• CT RN license must be obtained prior to start; please allow time for processing

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
• Perform triage and prioritize care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Monitor and manage patients with dysrhythmias and other urgent medical needs
• Support respiratory care for patients using CPAP/BiPAP or mechanical ventilation
• Administer and manage IV therapies, including vasopressors, per protocol
• Maintain central lines, initiate IV access, and support phlebotomy needs
• Follow isolation precautions and infection control best practices
• Collaborate closely with the care team to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
• Adapt to a dynamic unit environment while maintaining professionalism and calm under pressure
