• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130–$2,250
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend / every other holiday
• Floating: Willingness to float as needed within the assigned regional network
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or a compact state, in hand at submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room or Emergency Department RN experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department or acute care hospital setting
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to successfully complete dysrhythmia testing within the required timeframe
• Trauma and stroke continuing education experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric emergency patients in a busy ER setting
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization of patients based on acuity
• Respond to emergent conditions including trauma, stroke, respiratory distress, chest pain, and behavioral health needs
• Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and support advanced emergency interventions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and escalate changes in patient condition promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, emergency department staff, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate efficient, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established ED protocols and safety standards
• Support a positive, adaptable team environment while meeting the needs of a fast-paced Emergency Department
