Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Fairfield, Iowa
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Rotating shifts, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend with rotating holidays
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

Job Requirements

• Current Iowa RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred, ideally in the Emergency Department, Emergency Room, or acute care setting
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver safe, compassionate, and timely care to Emergency Room and Emergency Department patients
• Respond effectively to changing patient needs in a high-acuity clinical setting
• Educate patients and families as appropriate
• Direct and support ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a positive patient experience
