**Join the Exciting World of Emergency Nursing!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED RN) - **Shift:** 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM - **Location Requirement:** Must live 75 miles away from the facility for travel positions. Locals (less than 75 miles) are also welcome! - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department nursing, with documented travel experience essential. - **Certifications Required:** - Current AHA ACLS - BLS - PALS - NIHSS - TNCC - **Licensing:** NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License. - **Technical Skills:** EMR experience required, specifically with EPIC. - **RTO:** Must be included at time of submission. **Unit Specifics:** - **Unit:** Emergency Department - **Patient Demographics:** Treats Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics - **Common Diagnoses:** Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure - **Facilities:** 64 beds, including 2 Triage, 40 Acute, 6 Super Track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 Psych. - **Equipment:** Familiarity with Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun highly preferred. - **Special Notes:** - Charge capability is highly preferred. - Floating between units as required. - Scrub color: Navy Blue **Required Drips & Medications:** - Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine - Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG - Anti-arrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido - Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, TNK, Heparin, and Insulin --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
