Facility: University of Maryland Saint Joseph Medical Center
Location: 7601 Osler Dr Towson, MD 21204
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 4x12 hours (Will Accept 3x12hrs)
Weekend: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Start Date: 09/14/2026
Contract: 7 weeks
Experience: 2 years required
Travelers: First-time travelers accepted
Requirements:
• Active Maryland RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
Unit Details:
• Patient Population: Pediatric to Geriatric
• Beds: 40
• Average Daily Census: 30
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Psych patients are also treated in the ED.
• The hospital has a locked inpatient psychiatric unit, and the ED may have up to 6 psych patients at a time.
• CPI is required for permanent staff.
Patient Diagnoses:
Respiratory, cardiac/heart conditions, chest pain, MI, STEMI, NSTEMI, post-op surgical patients, CCL, stroke, TPA, MVA, fractures, and other emergency conditions.
The facility sees less trauma; a trauma center is approximately 10 minutes away.
