Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
- TNCC
Preferred:
- ENPC
Important TNCC Note: TNCC is preferred. Candidates may be submitted as a screen if they are willing to obtain TNCC before starting, subject to manager approval.
Unit Details:
- 26-bed ED with 20 rooms
- Average daily census: 105
- Approximately 135 visits/day
- Patient population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Level 3 Trauma
- EDAP (Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics)
- STEMI and Stroke Certified Facility
- Travelers will also cover the Observation Unit for ER hold patients
- No call required
- Weekend requirement: 3 out of 6
- Up to 2 RTO requests
- RTO restriction: No more than 7 days
- 40 hours of orientation
- Own scrubs are allowed; no prints
License:
- Active California RN license required
