Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position is part of a dynamic and high-acuity emergency care unit with 118 beds. The patient population is diverse, ranging from behavioral health and boarding patients to critically ill and ICU-level cases. Nurses in this unit must be adept at managing complex and unstable patients.

Unit Information

• Unit Size: 118 beds
• Expected Ratios: Typically 1:6
• Cases Seen: Mixed acuity, including behavioral health, boarding patients, emergency/trauma, and critically ill/ICU-level care.

Qualifications

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of Emergency Room (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required, post-orientation.
• Advanced Certifications Required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Additional Details

Candidates must possess strong critical care skills and demonstrate adaptability and comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Holiday coverage is required for this position.

• Shift: 12 hours, Night Shift
• Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
